Promoting the role of women in music
and connecting for a new pedagogy

We believe women and gender minorities are to find equal opportunities in the new world economy as well as safer spaces of expression.

More specifically, women related to the cultural sector and to music face 3 main challenges :

  • Lack of representations and role models (in music education and repertoires)

  • Existing discrimination and stereotypes in their learning environment

  • Lack of resources and lack of support to compose music and find job opportunities

Understanding the role of education is key to build a solution driven initiative. We believe in changing unbalanced power structures by raising awareness among music students and teachers.

That is why we have launched in 2022, Musical Bounce Back, a 3-year educational and musical program for 25 young European musicians.

Our goal is to reach long lasting changes in teaching practices and share here innovative teaching methodology.
