Pierre Barbizet Conservatory
Marseille – FRANCE
Directed by Aude Portalier, the Pierre Barbizet Conservatory provides ambitious instruction that is open to everyone. Its diverse programs (classical, contemporary, baroque, jazz, electroacoustic, drama, dance, collective practices, the Démos Marseille orchestra, the Colibri orchestra) offer access to a wide range of opportunities as well as demanding interdisciplinary projects.

Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics
Marseille – FRANCE
Since 2018, the LMA has been a Joint Research Unit of the CNRS (UMR 7031), under the supervision of Aix-Marseille University (AMU), CNRS Engineering, and Centrale Méditerranée. Its mission is to ensure continuity between fundamental research, engineering, and technology in its areas of expertise: Acoustics and Solid Mechanics. The Laboratory conducts original research, ranging from the understanding of phenomena to the design of systems with major technological or societal impact, including the development of concepts and core technologies.
GMEM
Marseille – FRANCE
Founded in 1972, GMEM is a leading center dedicated to contemporary and experimental musical creation. It supports artists through residencies, produces innovative performances, and offers educational and research programs. With its annual Propagations festival and year-round public events, GMEM fosters new artistic practices and strengthens connections between artists and audiences. Based at La Friche la Belle de Mai, it plays a key role in Marseille’s cultural landscape and maintains strong national and international visibility.
